Jasvir Gill

Jasvir is a Co-Founder of Start-up Farms International LLC (SUFI), as well as the CEO of HOKA, a company funded by SUFI.

Formerly, the CEO and co-founder of Virsa Systems and a principal designer of Virsa's Continuous Compliance Suite, Jasvir served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager for SAP's Governance, Risk and Compliance business unit following SAP's acquisition of Virsa Systems. Additionally, he leads SAP's GRC Labs which explores future directions for the unit.

An early pioneer in the compliance sector, Jasvir has worked with many of today's largest companies and most recognizable brands to deliver security and controls solutions for ERP risk management and regulatory compliance. Early in his career he was recognized by Kodak and others for developing custom solutions to reduce the high cost of third party audits—long before the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. This experience led to the development of technologically-advanced, packaged compliance solutions for SAP ERP systems and the adoption of these solutions by hundreds of multinational companies, including SAP, itself.

Jasvir has an Electrical Engineering degree from the Punjab University of India and has traveled extensively, consulting and speaking on security, controls and compliance.

Kaval Kaur

Kaval is a Co-Founder of Start-up Farms International LLC (SUFI), as well as its CFO / CAO. She is an active, charter member of The Indus Entrepreneurs organization and a convener of TiEcon 2007, their annual conference on entrepreneurship.

Formerly the Chief Financial Officer and co-founder of Virsa Systems, she directed its back-office operations from its beginnings in 1996 till its acquisition by SAP in 2006. Filling critical roles in finance, contracting, compliance and administration, she provided the stability that contributed to Virsa's rapid growth trajectory and consistent profitability.

Prior to Virsa Systems, Kaval was an Audit Manager for Seiler and Co., a California regional accounting, tax and audit firm, where she had key audit responsibility for several large multinational corporations.

Kaval holds a bachelors degree in Commerce from Bombay University and is a member of AICPA and the California State CPA Society. She speaks regularly at local and national events and has addressed CFO roundtables throughout Asia.

Mark L. Feldman, Ph.D.

Mark is a co-founder of Start-up Farms International LLC, as well as the CEO of Destiny Bay Wine Imports, which markets and distributes luxury wines globally.

Formerly the Senior Vice President of Strategy at Virsa Systems, Mark formulated product and market strategy and implemented product acquisitions and partnerships with some of the largest professional service firms in the world. After negotiating the SAP acquisition of Virsa Systems, he became a Senior Vice President in the Product & Technology Group at SAP Labs, tasked with formulating strategies to market the SAP product portfolio to CEOs and CFOs.

Earlier, Mark was a partner and global practice leader for merger and acquisition consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In his over 25 years experience in international mergers and acquisitions, he worked with such diverse global corporations as Adobe Systems, Microsoft, Barclays Group, DaimlerChrysler, Hewlett Packard, Pearson plc, Alcoa, JDS Uniphase, Global Crossing, McDonnell-Douglas and Goodyear.

As president of the Rubicon Group, a merger and acquisition consultancy, and co-founder of Rubicon/Pacific Trading, he specialized in cross-border transactions, particularly between the US and Asia.

Mark is a frequently quoted speaker who has addressed audiences throughout the world on industry transforming events. His best-selling book on accelerating mergers and business transitions, "Five Frogs on a Log", has sold over 60,000 copies and remains a business favorite in six languages.
